Our story begins with family.

For us, food has always been about more than what’s on the plate—it’s how we gather, celebrate, and stay connected. Our family’s journey began in 1992 with Tirlochn and Paramjit Mand, whose passion for Punjabi cuisine and hospitality eventually led to the opening of India Palace in Minnesota in 2003.

Carrying the legacy forward

Growing up surrounded by that tradition, Sem developed a deep appreciation for the flavors, hospitality, and sense of togetherness that defined his family’s restaurants. Today, Sem and Simran Mand proudly carry that legacy forward with Sizzle Street.
